RorusTV ("we", "our", "the app") is a generic media player application for Samsung Smart TVs (Tizen). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application.

2. Information We Collect

RorusTV does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

• We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact information.
• We do not collect location data or IP addresses.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
• We do not access your TV's camera, microphone, or contacts.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your TV only using the device's built-in storage (localStorage / roRegistry). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party:

• Server credentials: The server URL, username, and password you enter to connect to your media server.
• Activation code: The activation code used to identify your server configuration.
• Watch history: Up to 50 entries tracking your playback position in movies and series episodes, allowing you to resume where you left off.
• App preferences: Settings such as parental control PIN, EPG URL, buffer size, and user agent.
• Content cache: A cached copy of your channel/movie/series listings for faster app startup.

You can clear all locally stored data at any time through the app's Settings screen ("Limpar Cache") or by uninstalling the application.

4. How the App Works

RorusTV is a media player that connects directly to media servers configured by the user. The app:

• Connects to the server URL provided by the user to retrieve content listings.
• Streams media content directly from the user's configured server to the TV.
• Does not route traffic through our servers or any intermediary.
• Does not provide, distribute, host, or control any media content.

5. Third-Party Services

RorusTV does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The only network connections made by the app are directly to the media server configured by the user.

6. Children's Privacy

RorusTV does not knowingly collect any data from children or any other users. The app includes a parental control feature that allows users to restrict access to certain content categories with a PIN code.

7. Data Security

Since we do not collect or transmit any user data, there is no personal data at risk. Server credentials stored locally on the device are kept in the TV's standard application storage, which is sandboxed from other applications by the TV's operating system.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
